Default PM puts foot in it again

So in 2006 a tri committee (B of E, Treasury, FSA) was formed to look at the banks, inparticular HBos. The boss of the FSA had to go (shame, at least thats saved a bonus) because he ignored comments made by a HBos senior employee about the bank overstretching it's self. Now if it takes time to organise a gommittee 'when' did they now the sh1t was going to hit he fan???

and what did the ***** ***** Scotish idiot have to say:

I knew nothing about it ?!? (nixon esq)

He is iether totally incompetant and inept at doing the job or he is a porkypier.

IMHO Correct on both accounts

Some MP on 5 live nearly said as much

I'm just utterly puzzled by a story I have read in the Mail today about him striking Cameron's name off a guest list for the unveiling of a portrait of Margaret Thatcher at Downing Street. What has staggered me is not Brown's childishness but the fact that he personally commissioned the portrait!

What? The hate figure of the Labour Party and its followers and he commissions a painting of her? All we need now if for Cameron to commission one of Nye Bevan and we will know the world really has gone mad.

I think Brown is bonkers and he is in such a mess he is doing weirrder and weirder stuff - as Boudicca says - he's in denial.

I think he has been watching too many 'magic tricks revealed' shows. He still thinks you can divert attension by doing something else. Old givem the old left/right for an egg prescot had a go last week!

I don't think he is in denial because he is still playing politicial games.

The British Public, will not forget all of this!

I agree with Rhia, the man is mad, bonkers...talk to anyone out on the streets of Britain; Brown has lost the plot!

Not my usual lunch time view (my wife is on holliday this week) 'loose women'. Edweeena (don't eat the eggs) Curry was on and was asked basically why there was no 'big men/women' in government anymore? she avoided it skillfully. But now ask yourself can I name the cabinett..umm 3 pos 4. Name 6 politicians (cross party)? Lets go back 25 or 30 years I bet you could name more. from the likes of Ceral Smith (best speaker I have ever heard), hesaltine, lamont, parkinson, enoch powell, I could go on..... It must be what 'we' as a society want. They all played the political game but at least you trusted them, even if you didn't totally agree. So at what point did we want different - was it after the iron lady i.e. the pendalum swung the other way. Or is it that we are just to complasent to get off our butts and vote the wimps out and leaders in - be they aligned to iether party.
