Default National Audit Office/OFT

I am sure we have discussed some of the tactics used by some lenders when they reply to the OFT after a complaint is made.

I have experience of this, when the orginal lender has not disclosed all the facts to the OFT.

Nearly seven years on I am still pointing out if the orginal complaint regarding mis-sold PPI had been looked at properly and then the ID T heft and F raud happening on the same account, I would not still be arguing this case. I am now going back to the OFT with the original complaint and the subsequent actions to be looked at as an overall picture of carelessness, not treating customers fairly and the consequences I am living with today.

What did the original lender do? Failed to disclose the full story to the OFT, to strengthen their case. What did the OFT decide, the arrears that occured during this hiatus stood...No, if this had been investigated by the bank when complained about, there would have been no arrears.

I agree that OFT do nothing I have complained about the same creditors giving the same wrong result for PPI reclaims and nothing is being done about this all you get is we will register your complaint and if sufficient complaints are mad we will investigate and sod all happens.

Perhaps the new FCA will look at things more closely and see legislation and guidelines are not being adhered to.

I know live in this idealised world and think everyone will play by the rules and play fairly.
