Regarding the letter, I am pretty good at composing a letter (if I say so myself, hope I am not bigging myself up here), however, it would help if you could post up a skeleton and I will do my best, or at least, we can all contribute and put it together. I will have a think but it should outline our reasons for claims not being stayed and also include (if poss) quotes from courts such as Coventry Combined Court who have stated categorically that all claims will be dealt with on an individual basis.

I might also suggest that this is moved out of sight..........any thoughts? Perhaps the letter development can be done in the CI section but this can be a general discussion area for all to throw in suggestions.

Will see what some of the other sites are thinking. Also not sure about the Charter personnally as it states we would accept:

Quote:
•Five pounds is a fair maximum amount for bank charges. Banks have been charging around £30 for penalty charges; this is totally disproportionate to their actual costs. Even generous estimates suggest £2.50 is an appropriate cost, so a five pound maximum is a more than generous limit.
If a charge is a penalty then sorry actual costs are all I am willing to pay and unless they disclose this aspect then they can stick it all lol

Just checked out my local Court over the phone and it seems to be business as usual for Worcester County Court.

However we still need to hit the ones that are not clear or are blanket staying claims.

Hi Tanz
My CC is:-
Barnet County Court
St Mary's Court
Regents Park Road
London
N3 1BQ

Not sure what their stance is at present, someone on CAG has got a date there beginnng of Sept with an Abbey claim so I am keeping my hand in on that one.

My Court date is November for my Abbey claim.

Great initiative!
All the best
DS

Hello?! Barnet County Court is at Regent's Park Road??? How ODD! I am a Barnet girl by birth and our County Court used to be on the High Street.
