Default Proposed Group Litigation Order

Barrister Tom Brennan is trying to gather support for a group litigation (class action) against the waiver and the injustices of the test case shambles that denies all justice and has no end in sight.

There is a poll running at PC to ascertain who would like to join this, hoping that enough interest will allow the action to proceed by people with stayed claims. To read more please follow this link

I hope all those with a stayed claim will join in - you have to be confrontational in this game, no wusses or wimps needed!
Good for him, he is utterly tenacious and I applaud him for it.

As I write, there are still only 17 names down at PC, which seems quite surprising given the many 1000s of stays and the fact that that is one of the bigger forums.

Solicitors can get insurance for class actions through specialist companies. The last one i joined were doing this, until they had a 'conflict of interests' and ditched the action (maybe the bank payed them a back hander?).

DL

The poll asks specifically for you to say whether you are eligible or not, so there are 2 figures, currently 12 eligible and 6 not.

I see that and I also see one member re-read the criteria for eligibilty and realised culd qualify.

No use me joining it as I am not eligible for legal aid, but for the amount of money involved, I am prepared to wait it out.
