Default Panorama

Peeps may be interested to watch Panorama in a few weeks, i believe Nov 10th. They are scheduled to cover CCA's and the behaviour of lenders - especially banks in attempting to enforce debts.

Catch this Thursdays as well, titled "Britain in the RED!" looks a good watch as well. I think this is going to be the main area of many documentaries for sometime.

looks like we may get our TV license worth at last!.

Quote from next week's Panorama programme details - "They Want Their Money Back"
In the present financial climate, Paul Kenyon finds some lenders are going to extraordinary lengths to ensure they are repaid, including threatening repossession over a sofa in one case.He also discovers the legal loopholes a couple of borrowers have exploited to write off thousands of pounds worth of debt"

Watched Panorama last night, some nasty pieces of work knocking around. "Grizzly Bear" indeed. He'll be as soft as claggy toffee without his henchmen. First time I have seen the R......s, they didn't come over very well and like the man said, "should have stuck to letter writing".

I have to say i am Very Disappointed with the Sanitised version of what we all know goes on far too often.

So the OFT consider the 'hounding' comment on the DCAs website to be unfair.. yes when Panorama gets involved they do. Bet when a consumer makes the same comment they wouldn't get that response from the OFT though!

When there is no media coverage there is no protection to the consumer from harassment or bullying.

Oh First Credit are 'retraining their staff' eh? Well, thank goodness for that!

It was the tip of the iceberg. The BBC have made a lacklustre program and the Panorama team should know better.

I have already been in touch with Panorama with my comments on the programme.
