Angry Things that annoy you

I am in the middle of vacuuming, the phone rings, I trip over the rug, answer the phone with the phone number, foreign accented woman's voice, can I speak to Mr........., I reply I am sorry he's not available, can I take a message? She hangs up on me.

Grrrr......it wont be a DCA after him, because he owes no money.

Can it be the ex wife or friend of same???? Why the ex..mr....has decided he is going for a variation order regarding jer maintenance money. Long story. Would she be so silly to try to intimidate him and not let the solicitors do the talking??

Is it ROL or Royal Caribbean regarding his complaint about our recent cruise?

I dialled 1471 for a clue, the number is with-held.....

I was polite, I offered to take a message..it reminds me of the days when the DCA's used to call us.

Found out who it was, HSBC, Mr G set up a standing order for the house payments, he issued explicit instructions unless he notified the bank in writing that this was to happen they were not to act on any instructions, so the bank was checking if it was alright for this happen. He complained about the hang up on me and the bank apologised and said the caller should have identified and ask for hm to call them. they know who made the call and confirned that the caller had not acted as she should have...At last they banks are listening and trying to make things right. Might be an isolated case, but still it is happening.
