Default Is it worth appealing to the FOS

Hi Guys,

HBOS had sold on a debt to Apex WITHIN the time scale that they ha dgiven to me for responding to them before they considered the matter closed.

Neither Apex or Halifax had responded in full to my SAR and had completely ignored my many CPR31.14 requests.

I complained to the FOS who unsuprisingly said Halifax had complied in sending a covering letter giving a statement of the account, t&C's and the last six months statements and did not uphold my complaint giving me until tomorrow to appeal.

Bearing in mind our outcome at court on Monday would it be worth appealing and including a copy of the Judges reasons why he found in our favour and felt that the claimant had not met his sec 77/78 obligations.

Also, the FOS's letter made no mention of the selling on of the account when it was still in dispute.

Sorry for the short notice.

Got to dash, little minx is crying!

Bel

Definitely appeal. It's worth it. I did with one of my complaints and on appeal it was upheld.
