Default Need to convert a file?

Have you ever tried to open a file, only for your pc to say..."Computer says noooo...."!
Found a site, that is so easy to use - no spyware, adware, viruses (from the site) and IS FREE!

http://media-convert.com/

Save the file you want to open, to - say - your Desktop.
Open the above link.
1/3 of the way down - it will ask for the file name to open (with a 'Browse' button alongside)
Click Browse, find your file on your desktop.
Mostly, the above site will automatically determine what type of file it is.
Then, next find the field where is says - 'Convert to', with a drop down.
So, for example, I have an ODT file name (for open office/Star office document), and I want to convert it to a word document.
1st field, find my '.odt file on my desktop, next use the drop down for windows 97/2000/xp word doc, then click convert.
Takes maybe 1 minute, then you can download the converted file.

It does work, and very well!
Hope this helps.
