I've also had a quick look Bel - & tried the Charity Commission's register of charities and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, and I can't find anything.
I shall speak to my friend who is a Doctor of Psychotherapy - she's pretty good on support groups and similar.
And I'm no expert, but everything you say about RAD sounds right to me.
I'd hate to be a teetotaller. Imagine getting up in the morning & knowing that's as good as you're going to feel all day.
