Responsibilties and ISP's

I woud like to remind all posters to read the TOS (Terms of Service) of your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

The Law as it stands in United Kingdom and if ordered by the Court, will disclose your IP information if a complaint is raised regarding an offensive post made by any member, Unfortunatelym, this information will reveal your true name and phone number, tracing will then reveal your address

Please refain from posting anything which is of a threatening nature or even can be taken out of context as a threat.

The DCA's and others o trawl these forums looking for the slightest thing which can be used to their advantage to bring self help Forums and the posters into disrepute.

The ISP's in turn, can without notice discontinue your service.

We continually monitor this Forum to avoid distress for any of our members.

We try to confirm the IP address which is identified when someone tries to join this forum and so have been able to weed out infiltrators.

Be on your guard and if you have any concerns about a poster please bring it to the Managements attention immediately and we will investigate your complaint.

Perhaps we are lucky because we are small and not continually looking to expand our numbers.

I realise it is hard to be objective when you are mentally drained. This is what we are here for, to try help you with factual information and wherever possible case law.
